Olympia Maru

The Story of her Sinking:
This wreck is a perfect introduction to wreck diving! It sits almost upright with perhaps a 15° list to port, pointing 170° (compass bearing) at a maximum depth of 30 meters. The main deck is at between 18-24 meters. Big, open cargo holds allow even the wreck diving novice to explore the interior of the wreck, while still always leaving the option of a direct ascent to the surface.
Lots of schooling fish surround the wreck and hunt in the current. Be sure to navigate back to the ascent line or stay with your dive guide to find the way back to the ascent line. There are two pearl farms very close to the wreck and they are not very fond of unexpected visitors.
