Trip 1- APO REEF

The world’s second largest coral reef offers stunning marine seascapes and an amazing diversity of marine life
For a detailed description of Apo Reef and the best times to dive there please check out our Dive Sites link.
We normally depart from Puerto Galera in the late afternoon or early evening and arrive at Apo Reef at sunrise, ready to jump in for the first dive!
You can do four dives a day plus a night dive.
We leave Apo late in the afternoon to go back to Puerto Galera or to continue further on to Coron (see Trip 2) .
Add an extra day to dive Merope and Hunter’s Rock. As they’re outside of the protected Marine Reserve - the corals are not as stunning as Apo - but there is a good chance to see sharks and large pelagic species.

Trip 2 - Coron Wrecks

Coron - quite simply, is a wreck divers' heaven in the Philippines!

Wreck lovers can dive seven huge World War II wrecks here, plus several smaller ones. Maximum depth is around 42m, so it’s an ideal depth for Nitrox. (FREE on Rags II)
We usually leave Puerto Galera at 4 pm to dive the first wreck at 7am next day. Coron has an airport - so you can also join - or leave the trip directly from there!
Again with so many wrecks to explore, the duration of the trip is up to your group.
A very popular combination is a total of five diving days combined with Apo Reef, which is conveniently located on the way.

Trip 3 - Maestre de Campo

Maestre de Campo is a small island on the eastern side of Mindoro and offers another great wreck dive on the Mactan Ferry. She sank during a typhoon in the seventies and rests now on her side in very clear water and offers fantastic marine life all around.
It’s a great destination for recreational and technical divers alike and also ideal for shorter trips (weekends!) - as it’s closer to Mindoro. We can leave Puerto Galera later in the evening and be there early in the morning.
This trip can also be combined with various destinations in the Tablas Strait and can even be a stopover for long duration trips to Boracay or Cebu.
See our Reef and Wreck Dive Sites links for more detailed information and ask us about possible combinations for your group.

Trip 4 - Cavern Diving (very experienced divers only):

Add an additional day to your Coron Wrecks trip to explore the fantastic Cathedral Cave south of Coron or the Colocoto Rock Cavern between Apo Reef and Coron. However, for safety reasons - both of these dive sites are very weather dependent and cannot be assured on any trip.
Check our Cave and Cavern Dive Sites link for more please.

Trip 5 - Cave Diving

(Sorry- technical divers with overhead environment training only)
Dive the fantastic Paglugaban Cave in El Nido (northern Palawan)! This “Mexico style” cave is a must see for every Cave diver! Crystal clear water, relatively shallow 12m-18m (but you can hit 40m+).
Extensive passages and huge chambers filled with beautiful formations, some even containing air where you can ascend during the dive! Combine that with one of the most beautiful scenery the Philippines has to offer (Bacuit Archipelago) and you surely will not be disappointed
Best of all, this entire destination can be combined with most of the other trips (except Trip 3).

Trip 6 - Ultimate Cave Diving

We also offer a purely Cave diving trip. Check out the deep section of the Colocoto Rock cavern shaft going all the way down to 60m. Explore the second chamber of Cathedral Cave and of course the true highlight of the trip Paglugaban Cave. Consider another stop on the way back just before Puerto Galera and dive to the deep chamber (60m) of Mapating cave. Of course, the whole trip can be combined with all the other trips !! (except Trip 3)
